Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer (Fresher)

Job Summary:
Emagia is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented fresher to join our Quality Assurance team. This role is ideal for recent graduates with a solid foundation in manual testing concepts, basic automation tools, and database principles. As a QA Engineer, you will work closely with developers and product teams to ensure the quality of our software applications, enhancing the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply manual testing techniques to ensure functionality, reliability, and user-friendly features.
- Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts to verify software quality.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and bugs.
- Gain hands-on exposure to automation tools under team guidance.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to refine requirements and design test strategies.
- Leverage database knowledge for data validation and query writing as part of test scenarios.
- Continuously update skills on industry-standard tools and testing methodologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: BTech in Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), or an MCA.
- Has Certification in Testing
- Testing Knowledge: Strong foundational knowledge in both manual testing concepts and basic understanding of automation tools.
- Database Proficiency: Familiarity with database concepts and ability to write basic queries.
- Soft Skills: Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and effective communication skills.
