Skill required for Manual Tester Duties include: •
Take primary ownership maintaining and tracking GUI, CLI and REST API test cases
• Work closely with the Software Development team to design and create acceptance, functional and regression tests for product features
• Work with management, developers and other stakeholders to establish and enforce guidelines for automated testing
• Support effort to identify test cases that are candidates for test automation • Develop and document requirements-based test plans, test cases, and automation scripts
• Assist development engineers in diagnosis of product defects identified either internally or by the support team
• Identify and clearly document issues in a defect tracking system
• Manage tests in Microsoft Test Manager, identify test case candidates for automation or regression and build automated regression test suites
• Assume responsibility for assigned test scope(s)
• Provide brief daily status to the team
